Bramble Energy – Hydrogen Electric Integrated Drivetrain Initiative (HEIDI) 

The Hydrogen Electric Integrated Drivetrain Initiative (HEIDI) project will design, develop and integrate a hydrogen fuel cell into a double-decker bus demonstrator, using innovative, low-cost fuel cell technology developed in the UK.

Leyland Trucks – Zero Emissions Truck Testing Automation (ZETTA)

The Zero Emissions Truck Testing Automation (ZETTA) project will see Leyland develop innovations in automation and advanced testing to increase productivity and scale up the production of Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) trucks.

During Project Cavendish, BorgWarner and partners will develop novel combustion components, software and controls to allow the rapid redevelopment of existing heavy-duty truck engines to work on hydrogen fuel.

Jaguar Land Rover – Electric Vehicle Advanced Inverter Technology (EleVAIT) 

The EleVAIT project will enable a set of world-class industry and academic partners to develop key inverter concepts and technologies that will enhance the attributes of Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) electrified vehicles from 2028.

The ATLAS project will facilitate the launch of the world’s first liquid fugitive methane-powered off-highway agricultural tractor – built in the UK.

This project aims to further develop a novel ground-up Fuel Cell Electric Heavy Goods Tractor Unit to replace existing diesel vehicles in the UK and Europe.

Electrified Automation – Process Innovations for electric Motor Manufacturing Solutions (PIMMS) 

Project PIMMS will enable Electrified Automation to further develop its innovative process for manufacturing electric motors that are more cost-competitive, powerful and efficient than many of the products currently available in the marketplace.

Constellium aims to develop the lowest embodied CO₂ content aluminium alloys helping automakers reduce the carbon footprint of their products.

Toyota – Hilux Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicle Conversion

This project aims to develop a zero-emissions, hydrogen fuel cell powered Toyota Hilux pick-up truck. This will be the first application of a fully integrated Toyota hydrogen fuel cell system within this type of commercial vehicle in the UK.
