Hyperdrive – Hybrid Driveline

This projects will develop a hybrid powertrain and e-clutch for vehicles with manual gearboxes, using hybrid propulsion to enable engine downsizing, while retaining performance.

This project integrated the high-efficiency axial flux motor, cooling system and gearbox into a next generation fuel cell electric vehicle.

This project aims to develop a production-ready, innovative vehicle body electrical system, using powerline communications technology, to consolidate electrical architecture for weight reduction.

This project sought to characterise a new material technology that could not only act as a filter media in air cabin filtration systems, but also in vehicle after treatment exhaust systems.

Constellium – ALIVE

The project will take a major step with disruptive high strength aluminium alloys, and processing and joining technologies, enabling new enclosure design concepts for the manufacture of both vehicle integration structures and battery enclosures.
