TUAL builds and deploys high-power DC chargers where the grid can’t. The battery-integrated, plug and play architecture turns any grid-constrained site into a mission-critical charging location in under an hour – no grid upgrade, no civil works. From depots to remote destinations, TUAL deliver sustained high-power and uptime for fleets, megafleets, and critical-response vehicles. Flexible, relocatable, and future-proof, TUAL puts charging control in operators’ hands, regardless of grid limitations.
Highlights
- The programme helped TUAL to refine and reposition their business proposition, including customer use cases, technology deployment strategy, target customer segments, and development model.
- Established a dedicated Technical Centre, moving into new 2,000 sq ft premises at Bicester Motion, strengthening engineering and testing capability.
- Secured three fully funded customer trials, providing real‑world validation and commercial traction.
- Advanced technology maturity, progressing Technology Readiness Level (TRL) from 4-5 to 8.
- Raised £1.5 million in investment to complete development and support scale‑up.
- Expanded the team from 2 to 12 including the appointment of a Chief Technology Officer, significantly increasing technical and operational capacity.
