UK Government to host free automotive technology commercialisation one-to-one sessions at LCV2019

  • UK Government to host new ‘Meet the Experts’ sessions to provide free advice and support to companies on how they can successfully commercialise low carbon automotive R&D
  • One-to-one meetings can be pre-booked with representatives from six government departments and funding bodies for advice on a wide range of challenges facing the automotive industry, including securing grant funding for research and development
  • Held on the UK Government Pavilion at the Low Carbon Vehicle Show, 4th and 5th September 2019, at Millbrook Proving Ground, Bedford

Automotive technology companies looking to support the government’s road to zero strategy through the development and manufacture of low carbon vehicle technology will have the opportunity to receive new levels of advice, insight and support from leading industry experts at LCV2019.

Hosted on the UK Government Pavilion, managed by the Advanced Propulsion Centre (APC), the new ‘Meet the Experts’ sessions will give technology developers the opportunity to pre-book one-to-one meetings with industry experts who will be able to advise on a wide range of topics such as policy, funding applications, routes to market, exporting and many other issues that will aid the commercialisation of their technology.

The ‘Meet the Expert’ one-to-ones will run throughout both days of the LCV show (4th and 5th September) and should be pre-booked in advance. Interested parties will have access to representatives from the APC, Centre for Connected & Autonomous Vehicles (CCAV), Department for International Trade (DIT), Innovate UK, Low Carbon Vehicle Partnership (LowCVP) and the Office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV), ensuring a comprehensive panel of experts covering a multitude of areas is available.
