This project will develop and demonstrate an innovative, multi-platform automated battery charging process that will improve the efficiency and the competitiveness of the NMNUK factory. Between the work of Nissan and Newcastle University, there will be an improvement of safety, quality and efficiency in a large fast-flowing production line.

This project combines industrial and academic expertise to improve engine efficiency and emissions, and validate a hydrogen combustion system with a unique ability for rapid conversion of a base liquid fuel unit.

Delta Motorsport and its partners will develop a smaller and lighter catalytic generator, enabling the use of larger battery packs, extending the zero tailpipe emissions (ZTE) range and delivering potential decreased CO2 emissions.
