Biggest UK Pavilion at LCV2021
The latest in automotive innovation will be showcased on the UK Government Pavilion at this year’s Cenex-LCV and Cenex-CAM 2021 at UTAC Millbrook Proving Ground, Bedfordshire on Wednesday 22 and Thursday 23 September.
Highlighting how collaboration is key to achieving the UK’s net-zero emission ambitions, the 12 UK Government Pavilion partners* will showcase how they are working together as part of the innovation ecosystem to drive the decarbonisation of transport and keep the UK at the forefront of the global transition to clean mobility solutions.

As the industry continues its transition to a zero-emission future this government is working hand in hand with businesses to build back greener, creating jobs and boosting skills. The wide range of government-backed projects being displayed at the Cenex Low-Carbon Vehicle Show are a tangible demonstration of our commitment to a clean automotive sector and ramping up our efforts to combat climate change ahead of the COP26 conference in Glasgow.

The automotive industry is at a pivotal point and going through a once-in-a-generation transition as we accelerate towards ambitious 2050 environmental targets. In 2019 UK transport accounted for 27% of greenhouse gases, but great ideas will not move the dial on decarbonisation if they’re not commercialised, on the road and taking the place of more polluting technology – which is exactly why we have the largest number of exhibitors ever on the UK Government Pavilion this year, organisations like APC, each representing their role in the innovation ecosystem. The technology on show at Cenex-LCV and Cenex-CAM demonstrates how the UK automotive sector intends to remain at the forefront of research and development of next generation automotive technology, making the UK a beacon location for supply chain and manufacturing investment.
The show for technology experts and engineers is a welcome return to physical industry events thanks to thorough and safety-centred planning by organisers.
The Advanced Propulsion Centre is the government and industry-backed body responsible for accelerating the UK industrialisation of technologies to support the transition to delivering net-zero emission vehicles. The APC provides resources and insight to accelerate the development of the electrified supply chain across technologies, UK-wide.
