The very latest in Advanced Low Carbon Vehicle Technology to be showcased on the UK Government Pavilion at Cenex LCV/CAM event in September

A new hydrogen-powered vehicle will feature alongside innovative battery, component, manufacturing, and test technologies developed by UK SMEs.

A new hydrogen-powered vehicle, designed and built in the UK, will make its first public appearance on the UK Government Pavilion, stand C3-112, at this year’s Cenex LCV and CAM event. The new vehicle will join a showcase of project exhibits highlighting innovations from UK businesses, made possible thanks to Government investment channelled through partner organisations.

The UK Government Pavilion plays host to nine government agencies supporting the development and funding of advanced low-carbon and net-zero emission vehicle technologies. Of these agencies, 2023 marks 10 years of the Advanced Propulsion Centre (APC) and 20 years of Zemo Partnership. Celebrations of these milestones will be taking place throughout the two-day event. The other agencies on the UK Government Pavilion are: the Department of Business and Trade, Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV), Centre for Connected and Automated Vehicles (CCAV), Automotive Council, Innovate UK, Driving the Electric Revolution (DER), Vehicle Certification Agency and Zenzic.

Philippa Oldham, Stakeholder Engagement Director at APC, commented, “The significant number of R&D projects on display on the UK Government Pavilion is a testament to the success of the targeted Government investment through organisations such as APC and the other pavilion partners, to provide emerging cleantech innovators with a platform for success.”

She continued,

“This is a very special year for us, it is our 10th anniversary, and a fitting celebration to be able to showcase the projects and technologies we have supported over the past decade.  We are proud to share in their success, whilst highlighting our continued commitment to a net-zero future.”

The UK Government Pavilion will also host a programme of roundtable discussions and technology presentations on the first day of the show in the Workshop Dome. The full agenda for these sessions will be released in the coming weeks.
