Metier Technologies Ltd. – HyFusion; Hydrogen Fuel System Innovation
Metier’s HyFusion project aims to deliver an innovative on-tank valve (OTV) and fuel pressure regulator for on-board and mobile hydrogen fuel systems. Both solutions will be optimised for cost and quality through research into design integration and critical manufacturing innovation, and they will be validated to certified beta-sample level suitable for future field trials.
Project highlights:
- Design, validation, and manufacturing of a system demonstrator to exhibit at Cenex Expo 2025.
- Development of technology that is suitable for both on and off-highway use, fuel cells or Hydrogen ICE, and operable at 350 or 700 bar storage pressure.
- Total project value £1 million, with £530K funded by the Department for Business and Trade, facilitated by the APC.
