Technology Developer Accelerator Programme (TDAP)

Brill Power: Revolutionising performance through innovative battery intelligence technology

Brill Power, a spin-out from the University of Oxford, has transformed breakthrough battery control technology into a multimillion-pound business. With support through the Technology Developer Accelerator Programme (TDAP), the founders gained vital industry insights, strategic connections, and funding that helped them pivot from academic R&D to real-world automotive applications. Watch the video to hear about the challenges of commercialising deep tech, the support they received to accelerate market entry, and valuable advice for businesses aiming to turn technical solutions into viable products.

Brill Power was a participant in wave 3 of the Technology Developer Accelerator Progamme (TDAP) and received £104,500 in government grant funding through the Advanced Propulsion Centre UK.

The Technology Developer Accelerator Programme has recently rebranded to Mobilise, joining forces with Zenzic, to offer a combined early-stage accelerator programme focused on delivering zero-emission and smart, connected mobility solutions for the future.

The programme builds on the award-winning features of the Technology Developer Accelerator Programme (TDAP) and combines them with the technical validation opportunities currently provided by Zenzic’s CAM Scale-Up UK initiative; namely unparalleled access to an extensive network of world-leading Testbed facilities.
