Aeramine: Sustainable high-purity copper recycling firm wins government backing

UK deep-tech company Aeramine has secured funding to accelerate development of its technology for recycling critical materials used in electrification, semiconductors and advanced manufacturing. 

Aeramine is a participant in the 2026 Mobilise cohort and received over £173,000 in government grant funding from the Department for Business, Innovation, Science, and Trade through DRIVE35 and the Advanced Propulsion Centre UK.

The Mobilise accelerator programme builds on the award-winning features of the Technology Developer Accelerator Programme (TDAP) and combines them with the technical validation opportunities currently provided by Zenzic’s CAM Scale-Up UK initiative; namely unparalleled access to an extensive network of world-leading Testbed facilities.
