New Scale-up Feasibility Study cohorts to accelerate UK clean transport manufacturing
Date: 09 April 2026
The Advanced Propulsion Centre UK (APC) today announces the latest cohort of innovative UK organisations selected for support through DRIVE35 Scale-up, the government-funded programme delivered in partnership with the Department for Business and Trade (DBT), APC, and Innovate UK.
Two new rounds of Scale-up Feasibility Studies will help companies assess pathways to industrialise breakthrough technologies in the UK, strengthening domestic capability in batteries, power electronics, materials, critical minerals, vehicle systems, and advanced manufacturing.
Over £11.3 million in government grant funding from DRIVE35 has been secured, alongside private investment.
These feasibility studies play a pivotal role in enabling UK innovators to progress toward commercial production, supporting government ambitions towards net-zero growth, supply chain resilience, and a competitive zero emission vehicle (ZEV) sector.
