ELM Mobility – Game Changing Efficiency in Electric Last Mile
Developing a game-changing last-mile delivery vehicle that reduces logistics costs, emissions, and urban congestion through purposeful, efficient design.
The Game Changing Efficiency in Electric Last Mile (GCE-ELM) project is a collaboration between CENEX, Astheimer Design, and Nyobolt, and is led by ELM Mobility. The project’s outcome, which is a purpose-built last-mile delivery vehicle, offers an alternative for logistics companies struggling with the high cost of urban delivery.
By focusing on delivery efficiency to reduce logistics costs, emissions and urban congestion, the solution directly addresses the core challenges faced by the sector. The project will enable logistics operators to meet regulatory requirements for decarbonisation, all while supporting the transition to cleaner, less congested cities.
GCE-ELM is compact in footprint, with a greater load capacity than a compact van, creating a step change in efficiency and sustainability. Through this project, the consortium partners will develop the vehicle to a fully validated, production ready product.
