  • Aims to create and protect more than 700 direct UK jobs in engineering, manufacturing and production
  • Almost 3,300 additional indirect jobs are also protected through the supply chain
  • JLR provides route to market for technologies, while partners can also pursue interest from other OEMs to exploit further
  • Project cost of £21.5 million, almost half funded through the APC

Petrol will remain a popular fuel choice for many years to come as a global infrastructure for electric vehicles is established and as hybridisation demand increases. The Breathe collaboration is significantly cutting CO2 emissions for JLR’s next-generation petrol engines so everyone can breathe easier, while also creating and protecting thousands of UK jobs.
