Catalyst technology allows the testing of full size after-treatment systems and components under a wider range of conditions encompassing WLTC Real Driving Emissions.
Catagen’s full-scale after-treatment system development tool utilises its patented recirculating gas reactor technology to measure system or component performance in any gas composition, temperature and flow combination reproducing transient real driving emissions conditions.
In addition to a wide range of testing services, Catagen can determine the accuracy, stability, repeatability, resolution and reproduceability of emissions measurement equipment during drive cycle conditions.
Later this year Catagen will be launching its Universal Lab Test Recirculating Apparatus (ULTRA) that will enable customers to test full size after-treatment systems and components under a wider range of conditions encompassing WLTC under Euro 6c Real Driving Emissions which includes temperatures below zero and altitude effects.
Catagen’s unique full-scale synthetic gas reactor replicates transient gas composition, flow and temperature. The precision, controllability, repeatability and resolution makes this a unique RDE development tool and a standard for dynamic measurement.
