UK Automotive Industry Starts 2017 on a High
UK car manufacturing is on a 9 year high with figures showing the best January performance since 2008.
An increase production of 7.5% was recorded in January in comparison to the previous year’s figures, resulting in a total of 147,922 cars manufactured in the UK last month.
The hunger overseas for UK manufactured vehicles continued to drive the impressive growth with exports figures up by 10.8%, which bring export to a total of 117,916 units.
