More than 550 exhibitors will be displaying ideas, technology and promoting opportunities to develop and produce low carbon technology in the UK, and the APC team will be in Hall 3 ready to talk to you.
In the last 18 months the APC has invested in ten projects worth more than £174 million, involving 54 organisations including SMEs, suppliers, OEMs and universities. Visitors who met the APC team at LCV2014 are among the projects now being funded by us as we help to turn low carbon propulsion technology into products developed in the UK.
This year at LCV2015, the APC will feature technology from Flybrid, Dearman and AIE in Hall 3 on stand C3-415 and visitors will find details of the projects and programmes being funded by the APC. Visitors will be able to pick up a copy of Building the Propulsion Nation:The First Year of Delivery, explore the technology roadmaps, see the APC video, meet the APC team or share your ideas for future developments in the industry.
The LCV2015 seminar programme on Wednesday 9th September features a session dedicated to UK Capabilities Development, chaired by the APC’s Garry Wilson with guests from the APC Spokes, as well as Dick Elsy, Chief Executive of the High Value Manufacturing Catapult and Dr Rupert Lewis from the Department for Business Innovation and Skills. Join the debate and add your comments as we develop the Propulsion Nation.
The APC’s Chief Executive Tony Pixton will be chairing the main plenary event on Wednesday 9th September looking at propulsion technology trends with presentations from Bosch, Ford and MAHLE.
Jon Beasley will be chairing the Sustainable Vehicle Technology Conference on Thursday 10th September during LCV2015 with papers and presentations covering developments in road load reduction, powertrain modelling simulation, energy storage and electric machines and reducing real world emissions.
The APC is sponsoring the 2015 Award for Low Carbon Innovation by an SME as part of the LowCVP Low Carbon Champion Awards which will be presented on the evening of 9th September 2015. The awards celebrate the UK’s talented and innovative thinkers who are helping the UK to become a global centre of excellence for the development and production of low carbon propulsion technology.
